What is a .ACSM file?
The most common data format on the web.
An ACSM file (Adobe Content Server Message) is a small XML ticket, not the book itself. Open it with the free Adobe Digital Editions: install the app, authorize it with a free Adobe ID, then double-click the file - ADE contacts Adobe's server and downloads the actual EPUB or PDF. Online "acsm to pdf converters" cannot work because the book is never inside the .acsm file.
