What is a .FODT file?
Everything worth knowing about OpenDocument Flat XML Text Document files.
A FODT file is a single-file XML version of an OpenDocument text document (.odt). Open it with LibreOffice Writer, or rename it to .odt to open it in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. The format is plain text XML, so any text editor can also read the raw markup.

Is my .FODT file uploaded anywhere?

Why do my slides look a little different?
Slides are rebuilt from their text, images and positions. Themes, animations, charts and some shape effects are simplified in the preview.
Can I open a password-protected .FODT file?
Not yet. Encrypted .FODT files are detected, and password support is on our roadmap.
What about .xlsx, .docx and .pptx?
