An MMF file is a Yamaha SMAF audio file (Synthetic Music Mobile Application Format), used for ringtones on Japanese feature phones in the early 2000s. On a PC, open it with Awave Studio or convert it to MP3 at convert.guru. Note that the .mmf extension also belongs to an unrelated Microsoft Mail format. The Yamaha ringtone file is far more common.

Why can't some files be converted?
Files protected with DRM (for example purchased iTunes .m4p songs or some .wmv rentals) are encrypted. We can show what's inside, but nobody can convert them without the key.
