What is a .OSD file?
The most common data format on the web.
An OSD file is an Open Software Description document, a plain XML file that describes a software package, its OS requirements, and where to fetch the installer. The format was used by Microsoft App-V 4.x and SoftGrid; App-V 5.0 replaced it in 2012. Open an OSD file in any text editor.
