What is a .RPS file?
The most common data format on the web.
An RPS file is a 3ds Max Render Preset Settings file, a binary file that stores renderer configuration such as resolution, anti-aliasing, global illumination, and motion blur so the same settings can be reused across 3D scenes. It opens only in Autodesk 3ds Max via Rendering > Render Presets > Load Preset. The file contains settings only, no executable code, so it poses no security risk.
