What is a .RUL file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .rul file is an InstallScript source file created by InstallShield (Flexera Software). It contains C-like code that controls installer behavior such as file copying, registry edits, and wizard UI. Open it with any text editor to read it, or with the InstallShield IDE to compile and run it. End users do not normally encounter .rul files; they appear only in software development projects.
