What is a .SAL file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .sal file is source code written in SAL (Scalable Application Language), the 4GL language built into Gupta Technologies' SQLWindows and its successor Centura Team Developer. Open it in Centura Team Developer (Unify Corporation) or any text editor. SAL has no connection to MySQL or Oracle; that association in some databases is wrong.
