What is a .WLMP file?
The most common data format on the web.
A WLMP file is a Windows Live Movie Maker project file. It contains no video footage, only an XML list of editing decisions that point to your original clips on disk. To open it you need Windows Movie Maker (discontinued January 2017). To get a playable video, open the project in Movie Maker and use Save movie to export an MP4 or WMV.
